Dr. Beshore has been in the dental field for over 35 years. Getting to work alongside an equally compassionate and caring team as himself is incredibly fulfilling. Helping his patients reach their dental health goals and building strong, long-lasting relationships with them is why he loves being a dentist so much. Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?
Dentistry combined several different personal interests of Dr. Beshore’s in a single career, including helping people, science, art, and being able to work with his hands. Even today, he still feels like he made the right decision when choosing a lifelong career!
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
Dr. Beshore completed his undergraduate studies at Wichita State University before earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Missouri at Kansas City School of Dentistry. He has also completed a General Practice Residency through the United States Air Force.
Even after graduating, Dr. Beshore hasn’t stopped learning. He has completed over 1,000 hours of continuing education courses from world-renowned dental training programs, including Dawson Academy, Spear Center, and DOCS for oral conscious sedation. He has also completed specialty training for dental implant treatment, full mouth rehabilitation, and bone grafting through Implant Direct, the Zimmer Institute, and Arrowhead.
Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
Stephanie, Dr. Beshore’s wife, works alongside him each day as a Registered Dental Hygienist. They have three children who are grown, Chelsea, Allegra, and Isaac. When he’s not at the dental office, he loves spending quality time with his family, friends, and three grandkids. Whenever he gets the chance to, he also loves fly fishing, travelling, snow skiing, and cycling.
